Midnight Generation is a funk, disco, and electronic-pop band from Chihuahua, Mexico, led by frontman Fernando Mares and formed in 2014. Drawing on influences like the Bee Gees, Prince, Chic, and Daft Punk, the five-piece blends 70s funk with sleek modern synths and grooves, singing in English despite their Mexican roots. They have become one of the most-toured Mexican acts, sharing stages with Chromeo and Polo & Pan and playing festivals like Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands.
