MCR-T is the alias of Julian McCarthy, a Berlin-born DJ, producer, and rapper and a key figure in the city's Live From Earth collective. With German, American, and Jamaican roots, he fuses Miami bass, ghetto-tech, electro, and hard techno with a brash, tongue-in-cheek Berlin attitude.
