Excision, real name Jeff Abel, is a Canadian DJ, producer, and entrepreneur who has become one of the most influential figures in bass music. Known for earth-shaking dubstep, cinematic sound design, and some of the most elaborate audiovisual productions in electronic music, he has helped define modern festival bass culture. Beyond his music, he founded Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, and the Subsidia label, creating platforms that have shaped an entire generation of bass artists.
